If you want to start up a live scan business from scratch, you will have to start by setting up a business office with phones, staff, and computers.  You will have to obtain live scan equipment, and get your people trained to use it.  You will have to get licensed by the Department of Justice as a live scan provider.  You will have to become a client of a forwarding service that relays your electronic prints to the DOJ.  You will have to learn all the rules and procedures of DOJ from scratch.  And you will have to advertise to get customers.  All of that adds up to a lengthy and expensive startup procedure.

Our live scan equipment is made by Cross Match Technologies in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.  We have received from them the necessary training and authorization to be a distributor and service provider of the machines they make, and to be a trainer of operators in its use.  That expertise in training and equipment is put at your disposal when you become an American Live Scan affiliate.  We will provide you with the same machines we are using, in mint new condition, at a cost no higher than you would pay direct to the factory. 

    
The training we provide to your operators will be superior to and less expensive than the training than could obtain from Cross Match in Florida.  Less expensive, because they will not have to go to Florida for it.  And superior, because we will train them in all aspects of doing live scan services, and not just with the technicalities of the machinery.  From our trainers, your employees will learn exactly what they need to do from beginning to end, when a client walks in and wants a live scan.
